It all started in Chicago... A warm idea
in the middle of the cold winter of 2006.
Our company started when our founder,
Jim Devers, was walking his dog.

Chicago area winters are known for being cold.  When my wife and I got Bailey, a Pomeranian mix, I was frustrated with my normal gloves for a couple of reasons.  I had to “take off” my gloves to pick up after Bailey and my hands were always cold.  Not to mention I lost a glove or they would fall into the snow or rain and get wet.   I thought that there had to be a better way... and the idea for Muttens™ was born early one cold morning.

Dog walkers all over the world have the same problems with conventional gloves; they lose them, their hands get cold, they have to take them off to pick up after their dog or to do anything requiring the use of their fingers.  Muttens™ solve these problems as they are warmer than gloves and allow freedom for your hands without coming off.

Muttens™ are “A better way to walk your dog.” I hope that when you are walking your dog that you enjoy them as much as I do.
